I · The Threshold

Every ritual
begins with a door.

first, the silence

Before the music, before the gathering — a stillness. Someone must stand at the edge of it and promise to miss nothing. That is the work.

Every wedding is an alliance. Every alliance needs a witness.

II · The Separation

Apart, for the last time.

Two rooms, one morning. A dress holding its breath on the door. A ring that has never been worn, waiting to mean everything.

Before it was a circle, it was two.

III · The Crossing

The aisle is a border.

Forty steps, and none of them can be taken back. You enter as one person and arrive as the beginning of another.

01 · The Object

First, the object: a narrow band of gold, made slowly, meant to outlast.

02 · One Word

In Portuguese, there is one word for this —

aliança

the ring  ·  the pact

The language refuses to separate the object from the promise.

03 · The Witnesses

And the pact is never only two people. Two families lean in. Two histories, sometimes two countries, gather at the rim of one circle — everyone close enough to witness.

The bride, witnessed

A circle has no seam — no start, no finish.

What closes here, holds.

And then, all the color.

The circle closes, and keeps what it joins.

V · The Celebration

Now the room exhales.

The rite is done; the weight lifts. What was solemn becomes loud, and joy — real joy — never checks the camera first.

VI · The Witness

I don't direct. I witness.

I photograph weddings because a ritual deserves a keeper. Someone has to hold what the day cannot — the father's hand tightening, the breath before the vow, the laughter no one planned. I won't pose you. I won't manufacture a moment that didn't happen, because in twenty years you'll know the difference. What I promise is simpler and harder: I will be present, I will be invisible, and I will keep what was true.

I keep what is true.

A bride's tear of joy, caught in the window light — unposed, simply witnessed

No one asked for this frame

The window light. The held breath. The joy that spills over before anyone says a word. I did not pose it — I was simply there when it happened.

Portraiture

The wait, made luminous.

The same eye, turned to other beginnings — maternity, family, and editorial portraits, held with the same care.

VII · The Gallery

What the witness kept.

Real ceremonies, real light, nothing staged. These are the moments that were almost lost — and weren't.

VII½ · The Live Broadcast

Those who cannot come are still there.

Some of the people who built you cannot cross an ocean for one day. But a pact, once witnessed, travels — a grandmother in Goiânia, a brother in Lisbon, present, not informed. The circle does not measure miles.

01

Before the day

You share one private link with your family — no app, no account, no instructions. They open it on a phone, laptop, or television, and they are in.

02

During the ceremony

Multiple discreet cameras capture the exchange — the altar, the faces, the quiet between words — streaming live in HD, in real time, with no delay that matters.

03

After the last guest

The full recording is delivered to you. Not just a ceremony — a document. The kind that gets watched every anniversary.

IX · The Invitation

Every ritual begins with
a single conversation.

Two worlds, one day, one circle of gold. I will be there to witness it — and what is witnessed is kept. The circle holds. Even oceans fit inside it.

Tell me about your day — the venue, the feeling you're after, the people flying in from São Paulo or somewhere farther. I'll write back personally, not a form letter.

Your details stay between us. No list, no pitch — just a personal reply.
